When you smile,
Tears linger in your eyes,
When you laugh,
Your soul cries,
Beneath the surface,
You're drowning in sorrow,
Reaching for breath,
Yet paralyzed by agony,
Your heart's bleeding profusely,
Numbed by the gripping pain,
Unseen by others,
As you suffer alone.
